Roof Flashing Repair in Northwest Arkansas

The shingles rarely leak — the flashing does

Flashing is the metal installed at the roof's vulnerable transition points — valleys where two roof planes meet, where the roof meets a wall or dormer, and around chimneys and skylights. When flashing rusts, comes loose, or was installed poorly to begin with, water finds its way in even though the shingles around it look fine.

We reseal, refasten, or fully replace flashing depending on its condition, and check it as a standard part of every roof inspection.

Where flashing tends to fail

  • Roof valleys: Where two roof planes meet and water volume is highest.
  • Wall and dormer intersections: Step flashing that's corroded or wasn't properly layered under the siding.
  • Skylights: A common leak point if the original flashing kit wasn't installed correctly.
  • Chimneys: See our dedicated chimney flashing repair page.
