Vent & Pipe Boot Replacement in Northwest Arkansas
A small rubber part, a common source of leaks
Every plumbing vent pipe that comes up through your roof is sealed with a rubber or neoprene "boot" where it meets the shingles. That rubber breaks down from sun exposure well before the rest of your roof does — usually within 10–15 years — and once it cracks, it's a direct path for water to get in, often showing up as a stain nowhere near where you'd expect.
It's a quick, inexpensive fix on its own, and something we check on every roof inspection since it's easy to miss from the ground.

Noticed a ceiling stain that doesn't line up with anything obvious? This is often the reason.
